More than Tea.
A Piece of the Himalayas.
Born at 2,600m in Solukhumbu,

Farmer Owned.
Community Driven
We believe the best tea is grown with purpose. Nepal Hi Tea is a farmer-owned initiative in the Solukhumbu region, created to stop the migration of local youth by creating ethical jobs in the Himalayas.
Our focus is on small-batch, high-altitude Orthodox tea—a craft that requires patience, skill, and mountain purity. By supporting our Bhakanje village collective, you help us protect our ecosystem and provide a sustainable future for the next generation of Nepali tea artisans.
Why Himalayan High-Altitude Tea?
Nature’s perfect environment for the world’s finest leaves.
2,600m Altitude
The thin mountain air and extreme cold of Solukhumbu slow leaf growth, concentrating complex flavors and rare antioxidants in every bud.
Orthodox Craft
No industrial machines. Our tea is hand-plucked, hand-rolled, and small-batch roasted by artisans who understand the rhythm of the mountain.
Glacial Purity
Nourished by pure Himalayan snowmelt and crisp, pollution-free air, resulting in a tea that is as clean as the peaks it comes from.
The Art of Small-Batch Production

01. Selective Harvesting
At 2,600m, growth is slow. We only harvest the tender ‘two leaves and a bud’ during the peak spring and autumn flushes, ensuring the highest concentration of essential oils.
02. Hand-Rolling & Withering
Unlike industrial CTC tea, our leaves are withered in the crisp mountain air and hand-rolled. This gentle process breaks the cells without tearing the leaf, preserving the complex floral notes.

03. Precision Roasting
The final stage happens in small batches. We use a light roast to lock in the mountain freshness, resulting in a cup that is naturally sweet with a lingering Himalayan finish
