Highland Chamomile Tea · From our family garden
Origin
Our family garden in Solukhumbu, separately grown and dried.
Leaf standard
Flower heads harvested in bloom
Harvest & flush
Flowers are harvested during bloom rather than tea flushes. Actual flowering depends on weather.
Selection & processing
Selected flower heads are dried and stored carefully; this is an herbal infusion, not tea from Camellia sinensis.
Flavour notes
A gentle floral, herbaceous cup; steep longer for a fuller infusion.
Brewing guide
You can re-steep the same tea or flowers up to two more times. Allow a little longer for each additional steep.

MORE ABOUT THIS TEA
Frequently asked questions
Does chamomile contain caffeine?
Pure chamomile is naturally caffeine-free. It is botanically distinct from Camellia sinensis tea.
What does the leaf standard mean?
The youngest shoot is selected with a defined number of leaves. This refers to fresh leaf picking, not the finished tea grade.
Does every harvest taste the same?
Conditions and processing vary by season, so sensory notes are suggestions rather than verified batch guarantees.
Where does it come from?
Leaves are supplied by smallholder growers in Solukhumbu and processed at Bhakanje Tea Estate.
